Lincoln Navigator Ground Effects
The Navigator is a great truck, but not only is it one of the most expensive
on the road; it is also one of the biggest and worst handling. How far could you
take the sport utility? First step is to bring the center of gravity down. This
is where Ground effects come into play. It can make a vehicle look lower to the
ground. These are styling accessories, which typically include an air dam and
side skirts, this body styling package fits around the bottom edges of your Lincoln
Navigator. Air dam or front spoiler is found under the Navigator's front bumper
that redirects airflow. It often is used to direct air to the radiator or to a
transmission or engine oil cooler.

Side skirts can make the Navigator look lower to the ground without the need
for a lowering kit. This restyling accessory attaches to the Navigator's rocker
panel and is often part of a ground effects package. The Navigator can be lowered
a total of 5 inches all the way around using custom suspension components. The
front suspension of the Navigator can be given new upper and lower control arms
made out of tubular steel and built for extreme durability. Other than the awesome
street-stance, the real essence of lower components in custom kit is the handling.
With the new suspension components the truck handles noticeably better, it is
much easier to get in to and have a smoother ride.
